John H. Maxwell
About the Book

Connected... By the U.S. Mail follows the unique correspondence between two strangers who casually met at a friends house 30 years ago in 1975. A simple idea, exchanging art through the mail, grew into a great body of work that persists even into today.
Peter Blind and John Maxwell truly were strangers, not meeting again for over a decade, communicating soley through their collage work sent through the U.S. Mail. This relationship and documentation of these life-changing years is captured through their art. With hundreds of pieces that have been saved in shoe boxes under the bed, it is our pleasure to share this unique and special correspondence with the world.
Few things in life last thirty years, but Connected... By the U.S. Mail not only captures the nearly lost value of personal communication by dropping something in a mailbox, but reveals an impressive and inspiring documentation of history and friendship.

Ellie Mae Publishing is actively seeking a publisher to reveal this incredible collection with those who will be intrigued, inspired, and reminded of the power behind the personal touch of opening your mailbox to find another piece of history, and another authentication of friendship.
